Our call for evidence
In September 2024 we released a call for evidence to inform our final report to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights as part of the seventh periodic review of the UK.
We asked people and organisations to send us written evidence on their experience of their everyday rights – like food, housing, social security, healthcare, work and education – and what changes they think we need to see in the UK.
We received a rich collection of evidence that shines a spotlight on the many ways people are enjoying their rights, but also the barriers that remain. You can check out these submissions below.
