We are working with the British Institute for Human Rights (BIHR) to support community groups to use human rights to make change in London.

Our work over many years has shown us that when community groups are supported to use international and domestic human rights law, they can build practical, real-world change. The London Communities Human Rights Programme aims to support London-based civil society organisations to harness the power of the law and develop and use human rights-based approaches to create social change.

Our new videos and written resources can help to make rights accessible, and guide organisations and organisers through the process of implementing a human rights-based approach. We are also providing intensive support to four organisations leading exciting change in London: Community Plan for Holloway, Indoamerican Refugee and Migrant Organisation, Southall Community Alliance, and Unfold.

This new project is funded by the Baring Foundation and City Bridge Foundation, and led by Just Fair and the British Institute of Human Rights.
