Tackling inequality with local authorities – launch of new practical guide

Section 1 of the Equality Act 2010, the socio-economic duty, is a powerful tool to fight inequality.
This free session marks the launch of a new practical guide for local authorities and combined authorities in England to support them to voluntarily adopt and implement the duty, in partnership with people with lived experience of socio-economic disadvantage.
The session is for elected councillors and officers of local authorities and combined authorities, and any related stakeholders.
The guide and dial in details will be sent to registered attendees 24 hours before the event.
