Siobhán Lloyd

Siobhán is a lawyer practising in housing, community care, immigration and asylum law. She has a particular interest in the rights of women and children. She is involved in a number of organisation, including the Asylum Support Appeals Project, which provide pro bono assistance to those who cannot afford to pay for legal representation. She teaches European Union law at Birkbeck College alongside her practice.

Before becoming a lawyer, Siobhán worked in refuges for women fleeing domestic violence and volunteered with unaccompanied asylum seeking children. She also spent a short period working at the Council of Europe, where she drafted reports on human rights issues across Europe.
