Prior to pupillage, Parissa worked with victims of crime providing advocacy, support, and advice to those in crisis. From this she gained a firm understanding of the practices of public services after being based within local authorities, housing associations, the NHS, and Police.
Parissa is a Fellow of the Legal Education Foundation’s Justice First Fellowship programme, a scheme supporting advocates committed to public interest and social justice issues. As part of the scheme Parissa worked for the Bar Pro Bono Unit in London as an advocate case worker before commencing her pupillage at Trinity Chambers.
