Prior to joining Just Fair in June 2016, Koldo conducted research and policy analysis for Amnesty International on the human rights to health and housing in Spain (2014-2017). Previously, Koldo had been the co-coordinator of a European project on the prevention of homophobic bullying in schools, “Rainbow Has” (2013-2014), and worked as the Chief of Staff of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Parliament of the Basque Country, Spain (2011-2013).
Koldo holds a PhD in European and International Studies from King’s College London, a Fulbright MA in International Studies from the University of Denver, a MA in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from University of Essex and a LLB in International and European Law from the University of the Basque Country. Koldo has taught modules and seminars on International Human Rights Law, International Relations and European Politics.
Koldo is also a Research Associate at the Institute of Health & Society of Newcastle University.
