Koldo Casla

Koldo joined Just Fair’s team four days after the Brexit referendum in June 2016.

He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute of Health & Society of Newcastle University (since 2017), and a researcher on housing, health and education for Amnesty International in Spain (since 2014).

Previously, Koldo had been the coordinator of “Rainbow Has”, a European project on the prevention of homophobic bullying in schools (2013-2014), and worked as the Chief of Staff of Ararteko, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Parliament of the Basque Country, Spain (2011-2013).

Koldo holds a PhD in European and International Studies from King’s College London, a Fulbright MA in International Studies from the University of Denver, a MA in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from University of Essex, and a LLB in International and European Law from the University of the Basque Country.

Koldo is the author of a number of academic papers and op-eds, and he has thought modules and seminars on International Human Rights Law, International Relations and European Politics.
