Bruck Teshome holds degrees from Addis Ababa University (LLB), Hebrew University (LLM, International Law with a focus on International Trade) and University of Essex (LLM, International Human Rights Law). He has worked as a diplomat, taught law, and was a guest researcher for the Hebrew University in Jerusalem on the topic of periodic reporting to UN Human Rights Treaty Monitoring Bodies. He has held a variety of posts in the voluntary sector in the UK and Ethiopia and currently works as a consultant.
His interest is on the nexus of international business and trade and the discourse of rights – international as well as constitutional. He has written on the policies of economic development with a focus on the horn of Africa and consults international investors and businesses on the topic of investment and development in the same region.
